Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: July 13, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of premedfoundation.org and all mentorship, coaching, and educational services offered by The Premed Foundation. By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About The Premed Foundation
The Premed Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making high-quality medical school admissions mentorship accessible to applicants of every background. Our mentors are current medical students who have recently navigated the modern admissions cycle.
2. Our Services
We provide the following services through our platform:
- Hourly one-on-one mentorship sessions with current medical students
- Comprehensive Cycle Packages (Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers)
- Direct Mentor Guarantee — an optional add-on that lets you lock in a specific mentor
- The Access Grant program for eligible applicants who need financial assistance
- Free admissions resources, guides, and content published on this website
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s consent. By purchasing services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
4. Accounts and Registration
Some services require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, notify us immediately at info@premedfoundation.org.
5. Payments
All prices on our website are listed in U.S. Dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting a payment, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the full amount, including any applicable card-processing fees noted at checkout.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
- Hourly mentorship: Unused hours are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Once hours have been delivered, they are non-refundable.
- Comprehensive Cycle Packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum): Fully refundable within 7 days of purchase as long as mentorship has not yet begun. Once services have started, refunds are prorated based on work completed.
- Direct Mentor Guarantee add-on: Non-refundable once your mentor is confirmed.
- Access Grants: Grant awards are non-transferable and non-refundable.
To request a refund, email info@premedfoundation.org with your name, order details, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within five business days.
7. Mentorship Disclaimer
Our mentors share their personal experience navigating the medical school admissions process. We do not guarantee acceptance to any medical school or any specific admissions outcome. Admissions decisions depend on many factors — including your academic record, MCAT scores, personal statements, interviews, letters of recommendation, and each school’s individual criteria — none of which we control. Mentorship provided under our services is guidance and coaching only and is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical advice, or legal advice.
8. Access Grant Program
Access Grants are awarded based on eligibility criteria published on our website and are subject to available funding. Recipients must complete any required documentation and comply with all program guidelines. Grants may be revoked if eligibility requirements are not met or if program terms are violated.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, videos, resources, and course materials — is the property of The Premed Foundation or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
Any personal statements, essays, applications, or other work you share with your mentor remain your intellectual property. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to review and provide feedback on these materials solely for the purpose of delivering mentorship.
10. User Conduct
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with anyone else
- Record mentorship sessions without your mentor’s explicit written consent
- Redistribute, resell, or publicly share our materials, resources, or session content
- Use our services to engage in behavior that is harassing, discriminatory, threatening, or unlawful
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our platform
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
Violation of these rules may result in termination of your account and forfeiture of any unused services, without refund.
11. Confidentiality
Both mentors and mentees are expected to maintain reasonable confidentiality regarding any personal information exchanged during mentorship. Do not share your mentor’s contact information, session recordings, or personal details with third parties without their consent.
12. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with third-party services, including Stripe (payment processing), Botpress (chat support), Tally (forms), and Zeffy (donations). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party service.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Premed Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, mentors, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Premed Foundation and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.
16. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to our community. You may stop using our services at any time.
