Our Story
Applying to medical school is one of the most rigorous and demanding processes in higher education. Over time, navigating this process has become heavily reliant on expensive consulting services, creating an environment where guidance is often gatekept by wealth.
We started the Premed Foundation because we believe the future of medicine should reflect the diversity of the patients it serves. We are a coalition of medical students from across the country who succeeded in the modern admissions cycle. We formed this nonprofit to ensure that every applicant—regardless of their financial background—has access to authentic, relevant, and highly effective mentorship.
Our mission is to replace the opaque, high-cost standard with a community-driven model based on access, transparency, and real outcomes. By supporting one another, we are working to ensure that the path to a white coat is determined by merit, passion, and resilience.
Recent, Relevant Mentorship
Our mentors are current medical students who recently excelled in the same competitive admissions process you're facing now. They understand today's expectations because they just lived them.

The Results Speak for Themselves

Current Applicant
"The absolute best money I spent during the entire application cycle (got the package). It is so refreshing to get advice from someone who actually took the MCAT recently and knows what admissions committees are looking for today."

Accepted MD Student
"I applied for two cycles and didn't get a single interview. I was honestly gonna give up. Working with my mentor here felt totally different than anything I've ever tried. It felt like talking to a friend who actually knew the system from the inside. We completely overhauled my narrative and focused on the right activities. I have three acceptances this cycle!!"

Accepted MD Student
"As a first-generation student, I didn't have any family members in medicine to ask for help. I felt completely out of my depth until I got matched with a mentor who actually understood my background. He helped me turn my messy gap year jobs into a personal statement I’m incredibly proud of."

Current Applicant
"I was honestly panicking when I saw what the big advising companies charge. There was just no way I could afford those crazy packages (they don't even do hourly!). Finding this nonprofit was a lifesaver. Everyone really cares about us. Thank you so much."

Current Applicant
"Finding someone who understood my non-traditional, immigrant background really changed everything for me. The guidance was so transparent, empathetic, and actionable."

Accepted MD Student
"The Premed Foundation gave me better advice than the $6000 consulting firm gave my brother, but for literally a fraction of the cost. Leo knew exactly what schools were looking for this cycle and he was so supportive."
