Our Vision for Equitable Access
We started the Premed Foundation because we believe the future of medicine should reflect the diversity of the patients it serves.

The Foundation
of Our Approach
Applying to medical school is one of the most rigorous and demanding processes in higher education. Over time, navigating this process has become heavily reliant on expensive consulting services, creating an environment where guidance is often gatekept by wealth.
We started the Premed Foundation because we believe the future of medicine should reflect the diversity of the patients it serves. We are a coalition of medical students from across the country who succeeded in the modern admissions cycle. We formed this nonprofit to ensure that every applicant—regardless of their financial background—has access to authentic, relevant, and highly effective mentorship.
Our mission is to replace the opaque, high-cost standard with a community-driven model based on access, transparency, and real outcomes. By supporting one another, we are working to ensure that the path to a white coat is determined by merit, passion, and resilience.

Why We Started
We are a coalition of medical students from across the country who succeeded in the modern admissions cycle. We formed this nonprofit to ensure that every applicant—regardless of their financial background—has access to authentic, relevant, and highly effective mentorship.
Our model is simple: pair pre-med applicants with current medical students who recently navigated the same competitive process. Not physicians who applied decades ago. Not outsourced editors. Real, current, diverse medical students who know what admissions committees are looking for today.
